Today, LNER have informed me that they plan to close the ticket office at Berwick-upon-Tweed Station, despite the station being regularly used by thousands of residents across the Borders.

I met with LINK, the national cash machine network, following the announcement that four Bank of Scotland branches will close across the Borders in the next year.

Westruther residents are concerned about plans by Berwickshire Housing Association (BHA) to evict residents from their homes on Edgar Road in the village.

The final proposals are in from the Boundary Commission for Scotland’s Review of UK Parliament constituencies.
