Extend the Borders Railway

We need to extend the Borders Railway to improve transport links, create more jobs and support more local businesses.

The SNP Government at Holyrood has not invested to improve our infrastructure and build up the local transport network.

Since it reopened, the Borders Railway has been a huge success.

We need to build on that and deliver an even better Borders Railway for people across the Scottish Borders.

I will continue to do all I can and work with local campaigners to ensure we see the Borders Railway extended to Hawick, Newcastleton and on to Carlisle.
