John Lamont MP starts campaign to stop community hospital closures Friday, 19 April, 2024 I have started a campaign to stop community hospital closures across the Scottish Borders. NHS Borders have said they may soon suggest closing the 92 community hospital beds in Kelso, Duns, Hawick and Peebles. The community hospitals have been under threat of closure for some time.
