The Post Office have now secured a temporary solution and the Post Office in Eyemouth has reopened. They are working hard to find a long term alternative to that this service can be kept going and I will continue to remain in close contract with HQ about this.

Calls to end fuel ‘rip off’ in the Borders

Borderers are being charged nearly 20% more for their petrol compared to motorists in neighbouring council areas, new analysis shows.  

The discrepancy has led to calls by local MP John Lamont for national petrol stations to end their fuel price rip off.
