Following the arrest of Nicola Sturgeon on Sunday, and given the scale of the police investigation and the potential repercussions, the former First Minister should really be suspended from the SNP.
SNP MSP Michelle Thomson has said Sturgeon should lose the SNP whip, joining calls from the Scottish Conservatives and other opposition parties.
I have now called on local SNP MSP Christine Grahame to reveal if she believes Nicola Sturgeon should be suspended
I hope Mrs Grahame will join cross-party calls for the former First Minister to lose the whip.
Humza Yousaf must distance his government from this matter. But he is showing weak leadership by refusing to suspend Sturgeon.
