Well done to local groups and volunteers for taking part in a super-sized litter pick in Duns over the weekend.
I joined in the community clean up on Friday.
The Keeping Duns Blooming Marvellous group said over 300kg of waste had been collected over the weekend.
Other groups involved included A Heart for Duns and Greener Duns.
Local groups and volunteers deserve a huge amount of credit for their incredible efforts over the weekend.
I joined the team on Friday and we collected rubbish and debris around the town centre.
The streets and surrounding areas are looking much cleaner thanks to the selfless work of so many local people.
Of course, it would be better if clean up operations were not necessary, so please remember to deposit rubbish properly and encourage others to do the same.
