Labour's latest Budget is a let down for working people.
Once again, Labour have broken promises, increased bills on working people, and damaged the economy.
This Budget is a disaster for the Borders and all of Britain. It will do even more harm to our economy by continuing to force higher costs onto businesses, which reduces investment and puts more jobs at risk.
The bills of working people are rising to pay for a higher benefits bill, which is unsustainable and unaffordable. The chaotic mismanagement of the UK's public finances must end.
