John Lamont MP has praised a St Boswells business after their Royal Warrant was extended by King Charles III.
Astral Hygiene, who the local MP visited recently, previously received the award from the late Queen Elizabeth.
The warrant is recognition that the company supplies the Royal Family and allows Astral to use the Royal Arms emblem.
Scottish Borders MP, John Lamont, said: "I was thrilled to visit Astral recently and learn about the recognition they have received again from the Royal Family.
"Congratulations to everyone involved in the business for this achievement.
"It is a great honour that reflects the company's high standards and continued success."
Anna Armstrong, sales and operations director at Astral, said: “Thank you John for coming to see us to congratulate us on our second Royal Warrant.
"We were touched by your visit, and are very proud of this ultimate recognition from His Majesty the King.
"This is a milestone in our journey, and is a testament to our excellent customer service, the huge respect our sourcing team place in the acquisition of sustainable products and the collaboration and dedication our teams here have exemplified.
"We remain grateful to our team and our customers for their loyalty and support.”
