Beds at the community hospitals in Hawick, Duns and Kelso are under threat of closure.
NHS Borders have not confirmed the hospitals will remain open for certain beyond 2025.
These hospitals provide vital services to the local community, particularly for elderly patients.
The Borders General is already extremely busy and these closures would make it impossible for many people to access the treatments and services that they need.
