Earlier this year, Lloyds Banking Group, who operate the Bank of Scotland, announced they will close branches in Duns, Eyemouth, Jedburgh and Newcastleton by February 2024.
They have now announced that they are withdrawing the fortnightly Bank of Scotland mobile branch service that stops in Coldstream, Newtown St Boswells and Lauder.
These plans are a betrayal to customers who rely on access to in-person cash services across the Borders.
